African-American Women who are Congressional Candidates that Georgia and Minnesota must elect to the United States Congress on November 4, 2008 for “Business to have a Future”

Dr. Deborah Honeycutt

Barb Davis White

“In this 2008 election Americans must vote for these Congressional Candidates to affect change, a new idea and to help reset the Party of Abraham Lincoln back to “We the People.”

Dr. Deborah Honeycutt is running for Congress in Georgia’s 13th Congressional District against one of the most corrupt democrat politicians Georgia has seen, David Scott.  Dr. Honeycutt understands business because she owns one. She knows the concerns of every small business owner and the challenges faced everyday by those who are on the front line providing jobs and growing our economy. She also believes our member of congress should fight FOR small business and not against them. She goes on to say, “We must encourage strong two-parent families. When I was growing up, everybody in my family had to work and had to do their part. This experience gave credence to my belief in the values of the nuclear family. Today 68% of African-American children are born into a single parent family. I see a lot of breakdown of families in general because the importance of strong families has diminished.

Barb Davis White in running for Congress in Minnesota’s 5th Congressional District against Democrat incumbent Keith Ellison. Keith has done little or nothing for the African American community choosing to sign off on Earmarks totaling $70 Million dollars with no-dollars to any Black organizations.  It doesn’t shock us to see a Black man get to Congress and forget about where he came from “Detroit.”  Barb has said on more than one occasion, “We must stop apologizing for being Americans and stand up for our values and traditions.  The government cannot be able to control our lives”. Minnesota’s 5th Congressional District has had a “celebrity” in the U. S. Congress – it’s time to get a voice for “the people” in Washington, D.C.

Both of these Black Women (Barb and Dr. Deborah) will stand up to big government and say No to wasted spending by re-directing existing funding streams and creating new funding streams that will assist business in building capacity to employ members of the community that desperately need jobs.

Barb and Dr. Deborah will look at areas in underserved communities and work with the people in the communities to develop programs to attract new business and insert Economic Stimuli where there was none.

Barb and Dr. Deborah understand business and “process”, something that both of their opponents (David Scott -GA and Keith Ellison-MN) have forgotten about, so evident by looking at the state of local public schools and the very high and unacceptable failure and graduation rate of all students.

The incumbent Democrat congressmen in Georgia and Minnesota have sold out the community to “special interests”, opting to take the voters for granted while looking down on the people until an election year.

David Scott-GA and Keith Ellison have become “no-profit social service agencies” meaning they make the money and “the People” see no services.

Barb Davis White – MN 5th CD and Dr. Deborah Honeycutt are not opposition to the Democratic Party – but know that if the people are asking the same questions about healthcare, jobs and wealth that they were asking in 2004, 2006 and 2008 – something different needs to happen on Tuesday, November 4, 2008.

In closing, I challenge you to apply the word “Change” and watch it work in your communities. In 2008 “Change” in Georgia’s 13th Congressional District and Minnesota’s 5th Congressional District is voting for Dr. Deborah Honeycutt for Congress in Georgia and also voting for Barb Davis White for Congress in Minnesota.

To make it very simple, “Mother always knows what’s best!”  Who can argue with that?

The Independence Caucus Endorses Barb Davis White for Congress in Minnesota’s 5th Congressional District

For immediate release November 1, 2008 - Minneapolis (Minnesota 5th Congressional District)… Barb Davis White, the Republican challenger for the Congressional seat in Minnesota’s 5th district, has received the endorsement of the Independence Caucus, a bi-partisan group committed to taking back government from the “Big Money” special interest groups.

In stark contrast to the incumbent, Ms. White has consistently campaigned for an end to out of control federal spending, campaigned against earmarks and the Government Bailouts, and has shown she understands that the problems with our economy begin with:

1. A Government that will not stop spending money that it doesn’t have
2. A Government that will not stop printing money it shouldn’t print
3. A Government that will not stop mandating policies that creates unintended and unwanted consequences to the economy.

The Independence Caucus asks all residents of Minnesota’s 5th District to support Barb Davis White’s election.

More about the Independence Caucus:
The Independence Caucus invites you to watch: “A Cordial Invitation to the Bailout Tea Party - An open Letter to all Conservatives, all Liberals, and everyone in between”. The video can be found here: http://ourcaucus.com/teaparty.html this video addresses the Government Bailouts: Why they won’t work, and what we can do about it before the election that is only 4 days away.

The Video explains why the main problem with the economy is a lack of trust, not a lack of money…and how the solution centers on coming together as American’s (not merely as Democrats and Republicans) to actually DO something about it.

Thank You
Frank Anderson

Focus on the Local Voting Scene (Democrats/Republicans/Independents/Green/Undecided) …Vote for Barb Davis White for United States Congress …Send a clear message …“Minnesota wants the Best for the People of Minnesota’s 5th Congressional District!

Ask yourself…”Why are voters of the 5th Congressional District asking the same questions in 2008 that they were asking in 2004 and 2006?”  The reason? Current leadership has failed in Washington, D.C. Co-sponsored laws that are not effective and only give to organizations that have the capacity to complete the paperwork are being funded through Earmarks and political favors.  What happens to the little guy?

Barb Davis White is not in opposition of the Democrats, she wants you to vote for her so you (the People of Minnesota’s 5th Congressional District) can see what a real fighter will do for you in Washington. This election year will make history with the probability of having the first Black President in the History of the United States – that’s great.  We ask you to cross party lines when choosing your Congressperson locally.  We are more concerned about what will happen in Minnesota – you must remember to address the “local” issue by voting for Barb Davis White for Congress.

Barb Davis White is running against a man that has felt that he does not have to campaign because he doesn’t have an opponent.  The arrogance in that alone should let the People know that this elected official will not represent, respect or react for the people in the best interest of the people in Minnesota – he will smile and maintain his celebrity status.

Minnesota doesn’t need a celebrity in Washington, D.C.

Abraham Lincoln said.  “You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich.  You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.  You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift.  You cannot lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer down.  You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.  You cannot build character and courage by taking away people’s initiative and independence.  You cannot help people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves.

No new jobs! Under this man’s leadership, no new jobs have been created – even with $70 Million Dollars in Federal Earmarks in 2008 – zero programs or funding to assist the families whose homes are in foreclosure; no youth entrepreneurial programs; no summer jobs for youth and over $53 Million dollars funneled to the NorthStar Commuter Rail Project.  Isn’t there something wrong when an organization that already gets our tax dollars and other funding is given that much money and in Minneapolis the Minneapolis Public Schools have the worst graduation rate in the United States of American and what has happened to north Minneapolis in the last 18 months?  …Nothing.

Barb Davis White does not support the Minneapolis Public Schools Referendum.  Why?  Her opponent tells voters they must support it – but what he leaves out is that in the 2008-2009 school year it would not affect the children of MPS and furthermore, the Referendum flawed and needs to be re-written – Barb’s opponent never seems to mention the $60 Million dollar price tag that goes along with it – that will raise property tax and put more that 20% of homeowners in foreclosure, a round-robin of ongoing failure for the people of Minnesota’s 5th CD.

While we don’t want to be fortune tellers – whoever is elected President of the United States will have an honored friend in Barb Davis White.  Barb can and will work in Congress by listening to the wants and needs of the People of Minnesota.

“Buyers Remorse” has hit hard in Minnesota’s 5th Congressional District less than two years after her opponent was elected.

On November 4, 2008 vote for Barb Davis White, no matter what party you’re aligned with. As a Pastor, Mother and Grandmother and someone who is fed up with the current state of the 5th CD, Barb will show unconditional respect, action and care about the people of Minnesota’s 5th Congressional District.

A statement to all…Barb Davis White will be a phone call away with an open-door policy for the People of Minnesota’s 5th CD.
