New Book Released! New Book Released!

Common Sense-The Way Back by Felton Williamson, Jr.
With an introduction by Barb Davis White,
Candidate for Congress, Minnesota 5th District.

For over 100 years, politicians have usurped our freedom
with promises of unearned wealth and security but have
delivered tyranny. Common Sense-The Way Back analyzes five of the tyrant’s “showcase programs”, some over 100 years old. The poverty and despair caused by these programs is illustrated and proven. These “showcase programs” have been used to punish political dissent, extort political support and reward political cronies.

To help the victims of our educational system understand our danger, these
subjects are discussed before proceeding to the scrutiny of the tyranny:
• Creation of wealth
• The relationship between wealth, freedom and money
• The tyrant’s strategy and tactics
• The economic systems: tyranny, the mixed economy and capitalism
The final chapter identifies the greatest danger to the American Revolution and
provides the recipe to regain our freedom and prosperity.

6/18/2010    Barb Endorsed by Change the Congress in 2010

Barb Davis White has been officially endorsed by Change the Congress in 2010 (http://www.ChangeTheCongressin2010.com).

Catherine Wellborn, Executive Director of Change the Congress in 2010 stated the following in the endorsement:

"Here's what Change the Congress in 2010 wants for Minnesota 5th District voters: An honest representative. A trustworthy person. A person with real experience in life. A person who lives and works and volunteers in her community – her community in Minnesota. A person who cares about people. A person who has paid taxes. A person who has balanced a budget. A person who has created jobs – real jobs. A person who will put her God and her country above herself. A person who will not sell out to the lobbyists. Barb Davis White is that person. "

Ms. Wellborn also stated:
"As a straightforward, no-nonsense conservative who believes in limited government and the U.S. Constitution, Barb Davis White is working hard to unseat the left-wing liberals currently violating the conservative Minnesotan's and American's way of life. Her focus for the 2010 5th District U.S. Congressional race consists of 3 major areas: the economy, national defense, and limited government. By keeping taxes low, creating more jobs, and keeping our nation safe, Barb believes we can reverse the current trend toward national socialism. Barb is FOR the Constitution and the Bill of Rights; States' Rights; Term Limits; and Requiring US Citizenship to vote. Barb is AGAINST Big government, Entitlements; Bailouts of any private industry; Turning private industry into government owned entities; Global Government / UN; and Earmarks not pertaining to the Bill. Since Change the Congress is for and against most of these same things, we are proud to endorse Barb Davis White for the United States Congress for the 5th District of Minnesota. "

Barb is proud and deeply honored to be endorsed by Change the Congress in 2010.

6/1/2010    Barb Davis White to Challenge Keith Ellison in Democratic Party

Minneapolis – June 1, 2010

With a final glancing review before delivering the Affidavit of Candidacy for United States Congress to the clerk at the Minnesota Secretary of State’s office, Barb Davis White effectively put the Minnesota 5th District’s congressional incumbent, Keith Ellison (D-MN), on notice for a primary face-off.

By filing as a Democrat just moments before the deadline, Davis White set in motion the requirement for a primary election to determine whether or not Ellison will have the opportunity to be on the ballot in the general election this November. The primary, to be held in early August, will give Minnesota’s 5th district a choice of which Democratic candidate will be listed on the ballot, and Davis White’s belief is that it will be hers.

Davis White previously sought the Minnesota Independence Party endorsement. When no one candidate obtained the necessary 60% of delegate votes at the nominating convention on May 20, Davis White began the process of obtaining petition signatures from residents of the district in which she is seeking to represent. While gathering petition signatures, however, Davis White became convinced that there was a more courageous alternative.

“All I had to do was listen to what my neighbors were telling me. Hundreds of signatures were obtained in the past few days – certainly enough to meet the 1,000 needed for filing as an independent candidate – but what struck me was how many registered Democrats signed the petition knowing that I am a pro-life, conservative constitutionalist. It didn’t seem to matter as long as they knew I was running against Keith (Ellison). What I heard loud and clear was that the 5th District wants a choice in candidates, so I’m giving it to them. I’m not running for a political party – I’m running for the people of the 5th district.”

Barb Davis White was born, raised, and currently resides in Minneapolis. More information about Barb Davis White can be found at www.BarbDavisWhiteforCongress.com.

Barb Davis White Officially Endorsed by Minnesotans for Limited Government Barb Davis White Officially Endorsed by Minnesotans for Limited Government

Minnesotans for Limited Goverment (www.MNLG.org) today officially announced their endorsed Minnesota candidates, and Barb Davis White (IP-MN) was the only U.S. Congressional candidate chosen. The screening and endorsing process is a rigorous one and demands the highest level of integrity and promise of preservation and protection of the U.S. Constitution and its people.

"MNLG is a phenomenal group of patriots who will not stand by and allow the Constitution of the United States to be abdicated by a small group of elitists who cannot foresee the coming economic collapse if the federal government continues to grow and immerse itself in wasteful spending. I am deeply honored to be endorsed by the Minnesotans for Limited Government."

Barb Davis White Attacked by Keith Ellison for Defending US Constitution on Health Care Issues Barb Davis White Attacked by Keith Ellison for Defending US Constitution on Health Care Issues

Recently, Congressman Keith Ellison sent a fundraising letter to his subscribers asking for donations to combat his "opponents' attacks on our progressive values" quoting Barb as saying "Congressman Keith Ellison voted consistently to abdicate our constitutional rights by trying to force us into a government controlled health care system."

Mr. Ellison further went on to say that Barb's statement above is a scare tactic and that Barb's "tea party buddies" need to be countered with the truth about how he's fighting for his communities.

And what about those communities in the 5th District of Minnesota?

Minneapolis' 9th District continues to see declines in services, construction, real estate, manufacturing, energy and mining, agriculture, and labor markets. According to the Federal Reserve's study (click here to read), Minneapolis continues to lose jobs and businesses.

Barb Davis White and many other conservatives, Republicans, and Democrats alike all agree that a health care overhaul is needed. But as the Democratic party so carelessly demonstrated during the televised Health Care Summit on February 25, they are moving forward with a bill they could not get passed with a majority in both the house and senate.

Instead of working in a bi-partisan manner to solve the problems of insurance, medicare fraud, and tort reform, the democratic majority insisted on working from a bill that an overwhelming majority of American's don't want or support.

If attempting to working within the constructs of the United States Constitution and/or Bill of Rights to fix the healthcare system is scary, wait to see what happens if the bill passes! More small businesses will go under, forcing unemployment and crime to rise while further straining the already burdened food bank agencies.

We need your support now more than ever. With Mr. Ellison's continued patronizing approach toward the more than 40% of Americans that consider themselves Independent or Tea Party Patriots, we need to show him that your concerns do matter. Please donate now!

Remember to attend the Kill the Bill Rally at the Capitol building in St. Paul on Saturday, March 13 to let Mr. Ellison and his supporters know that they are in the minority on wanting this dreadful health care bill forced upon fellow Americans.

10/12/2009    Barb Davis White Runs For Minnesota's Fifth Congressional District

MINNEAPOLIS — October 12, 2009 — Barb Davis White announced that she is running for the Republican seat in Minnesota’s Fifth Congressional District in 2010.

“I’m running for U.S. Congress in the Fifth District to bring liberty, commitment, and integrity to Minnesota and our country,” proclaimed Davis White to a cheering crowd of supporters at a recent rally. “I intend to put an end to rising taxes, which strip our take-home income, feed big government and their programs, and make it difficult for the average American family to thrive and survive. I will work to prevent the numbers of small businesses that have failed in this economy, and I will ensure that people in this state have ample opportunity for employment. When I am elected, Minnesotans will experience positive tangible results rather than hope."

Minnesota’s 5th Congressional District includes Hennepin County to its western border and north to Fridley; Minneapolis to its eastern border and Richfield south to Hwy 494, and all of Anoka County. There are approximately 615,000 people in the district..

In 2008, Barb Davis White ran against Keith Ellison for United States Congress and captured 22% of the votes in her first campaign. In 2010, however, Davis White believes that the concern about the direction of the country and economy will overshadow party lines in favor of conservative fiscal policy and smaller government.
